(𝟭) 𝗜’𝗺 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗮𝗱𝘆. I talk about cats a lot and love all things cats. When I “retire” I want to be a foster parent to kittens, run a small cat retirement home for elder kitties, or a little of both. This is one reason why I started exploring working from home. Watching cat videos is one of my fav things to do! 😺

(𝟮) 𝗜’𝗺 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿. All the different things I do align with my calling to help people through teaching that inspires. I teach on various things. I teach college. I teach from the pulpit. I teach 1:1 when consulting. I teach in groups or through videos. I come from a family of educators. My mom, uncles and aunts are also educators. It’s just in my blood 😇

(𝟯) 𝗜’𝗺 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. This is a fancy way of saying I’m a sociological practitioner. I practice and do sociology primarily through strategic human resources, organizational development, and coaching/consulting. My specialty areas are career management/employee learning, inclusion/belonging, performance management, and employee engagement. 😎 I’m an active member of the Association for Applied and Clinical Sociology (AACS) and attended their annual conference in Florida with my fellow sociological practitioners.
